The Food Pantry Program is here to serve the Colonial Community, which includes staff members, students and their families.  Individuals and families who are eligible for the food pantry also qualify or are enrolled in SNAP (aka food stamps), WIC, TANF or experiencing financial hardship.

Colonial School District families that have children in our district schools, who are in need of food assistance or would like information about specific services available, please contact the corresponding school pantry coordinator listed below. Families may select 30 pounds of food and up to 5 pounds of other household products based on their household’s needs each visit.

First State Food Relief Funds
Delaware Governor Matt Meyer has declared a State of Emergency to safeguard food benefits for Delawareans in November. With SNAP benefits halted by the federal government beginning November 1, the governor has tasked the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) to stand up the First State Food Relief Funds program to protect Delawareans’ access to food in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.
