Extracurricular Activities

In the  Colonial School District, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Students have access to a variety of extracurricular activities that encourage creativity, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. These opportunities help students discover new interests, build lasting friendships, and develop skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Opportunities available to students include:

  • Chorus– Develop vocal skills, perform for audiences, and build confidence through music.
  • Band – Learn and refine instrumental performance skills while participating in concerts, school events, and community performances.
  • Student Clubs and Organizations – Explore interests, connect with peers, and engage in activities ranging from service and leadership to hobbies and special interests.
  • After-School Fitness and Wellness Activities– Stay active, build healthy habits, and participate in recreational and organized physical activities.
  • Academic Challenge and Enrichment Programs– Extend learning beyond the classroom through competitions, problem-solving activities, and opportunities that encourage critical thinking and academic excellence.

Through these experiences, students are able to pursue their passions, strengthen their sense of belonging, and become active members of their school community. At Colonial, we believe a well-rounded educational experience helps students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while preparing them for future success.
